With Wycom Image Archiving,
the Omni and Premier can
save printed checks in an Adobe PDF format to a Windows-based server.
This feature is standard with the Omni and
optional with the Premier.
There
are two components to the conversion process. First an Omni or a
Premier must
be configured to archive data to a Windows-based PC. Second,
a Wycom supplied software running on the Windows-based
PC will automatically convert the printer data into PDF
data.
As checks are printed, the check data is simultaneously archived
to the designated Windows server. Periodically, Wycom
supplied software will convert
the printer-based data into PDF format.
Image Archiving provides a simple
mechanism to archive checks without the drudgery
of manual scanning.
